The people behind Rewear

Built from lived experience. Growing through a team.

The first version of Rewear was built at 16 as a private styling system. It grew through friends, family and early users into a company rethinking how wardrobes create value.

Today, the team brings together product thinking, research, design and culture to turn a deeply personal wardrobe problem into something useful.

The team

South African minds building for wardrobes everywhere.

Rewear brings together research, industrial design, product thinking and culture. Our perspectives are rooted here—and our ambition is global.

Why Rewear
Why us

We have lived the problem—and built from it.

Rewear did not begin as a trend report or an abstract sustainability idea. It began inside a real wardrobe, with the confidence problem we are now solving for other people.

That founder insight is strengthened by a team spanning research, psychology, industrial design, digital media, finance and policy. We are combining lived experience with the disciplines needed to test it properly.

Why now

Wardrobes are full. Their intelligence is still missing.

People have more digital shopping tools than ever, but very little technology that helps them understand the clothes they already own after purchase.

AI makes personal guidance more accessible, while cost pressure and circular-fashion goals make utilisation more valuable. Rewear’s opportunity is to ground that intelligence in real wardrobe behaviour—not generic recommendations or guilt.
